Symptoms

• `message.failed` response
• Status never becomes delivered

Likely causes

• Outside 24-hour window without a template
• Recipient has no WhatsApp
• Content violates policy

How to fix

• Use an approved template outside the window
• Validate the number before sending
• Inspect `error.code` on the failed event
